L'workshop on the review of reports national et alat the meeting of preparation of the report regional audit coordinatornborn on Illicit Financial Flows  will be in Libreville-Gabon, from May 13 to 17.

These two activities aim at the following overall objectives: 

1. Regarding the national reports review workshop :

• examine almost complete versions of national audit reports to ensure their consistency with the criteria, lines of inquiry and objectives contained in the audit plan;
• ensure that audit conclusions are based on sufficient audit evidence;
• review the recommendations made to ensure that they effectively address the root causes of the observed deficiencies.

2. As for the meeting to prepare the coordinated regional audit report, it aims to:

• define the format and content of the regional audit report;
• consolidate the national results obtained with a view to producing the coordinated audit report;
• initiate discussions on lessons learned, good practices, opportunities for improvement, in order to improve future projects;
• identify the main messages that could be shared/promote appropriate decision-making at the African Union level;
• lay the foundations for writing the coordinated report.
